Here is a photo that i found and i find it very true and helpful to those with smoking habits. This image speaks to everyone, in general, about how smoking kills unexpectedly just how the 9/11 crisis happened. The central focus not only shows the two cigarettes burning down, but also it resembles the twin towers destruction. I believe that this advertisement has a the double meaning of the phrase "NO MORE Killing". This is a fact that is labeled on the image "one person dies every 8 seconds from smoking". The people who are addicted to cigarettes don't plan that today or tomorrow is going to be their last day on this earth because of smoking, but deep down every single one of them know that what they are doing has a consequence. This consequence may not happen immediately but soon it will come back and strike. I personally don't smoke but have close friends and family who do, and i wish it was something i could do or say to make them realize that this is a horrible habit to get attached to. This can kill you or internally damage organs and functions of the body.
We as the people have all power, to stand up for what we as citizens and fellow brothers and sister should to help each other out. What happened in New York on September 11th devastated the whole country of the United States. The moral of this advertisement is that the death of smoking is just as crucial as the 9/11 attack. This is between whats right or good and whats wrong or dangerous for. Someone can take this ad anywhere and should get a positive reaction from everyone. And you ask why? I would ask you one question? Would you rather have been killed in the 9/11 attack or die of kidney failure from smoking? the answer i would want to hear would be, i hope, neither way. i couldn't picture myself knowing I'm about to die. In My opinion i believe that neither of these incidents, either death by murder, smoking, or natural cause, the outcome is not in favor of anyone.
In conclusion, I believe that the ad reflects both the relation to how harmful smoking is and also to the terrible terrorist attack on the twin towers.
